Trey Mills starts World of Outlaws Rookie of the Year chase at Volusia Speedway Park

Officially kicking off his pursuit of the 2026 Rookie of the Year with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series, Trey Mills joined a field of 44 Super Late Models at Volusia Speedway Park (De Leon Springs, Fla.) for the three-day Sunshine Nationals.

Trey missed the opening night feature event before earning a provisional for Friday's $12,000-to-win show where he wound up 22nd. On Saturday, Mills started 26th in the $20,000 finale and finished 23rd.
