Pair of Top-5 outings for Trey Mills in fourth week on DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour
Losing Monday's opening event to Mother Nature, Trey Mills and his team rolled into Benton (Mo.) Speedway on Tuesday evening to kick off the fourth week on the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour.
Trey raced to a Top-10 finish in ninth before finishing 15th and 18th the following two nights at Spoon River Speedway (Canton, Ill.) and LaSalle (Ill.) Speedway.
Headed into the holiday weekend, Mills picked up two spots in his heat race at Red Hill Raceway (Sumner, Ill.) and drove forward in the $10,000-to-win feature to land inside the Top-5 in fourth. Tri-State Speedway (Haubstadt, Ind.) on Saturday brought Trey a 12th-place outing before he finished out the week on a strong note with a fifth-place showing at Duck River Raceway Park (Shelbyville, Tenn.) on Sunday evening.
Trey wound up eighth in the week four point standings.
