Trey Mills finishes week two of DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour
Kicking off the second leg of the Hell Tour early in the week, Trey Mills unloaded his Mills Concrete No. 14JR machine at Wilmot (Wis.) Raceway on Monday afternoon for the first of seven events this week.
Earning a provsional for the $5,000-to-win opener, Mills made up seven positions to finish 13th. The following night, Trey raced his way into the A-Main at Davenport (Iowa) Speedway and recorded a 12th-place outing in the 30-lapper.
Wednesday's event at Quincy (Ill.) Raceway was rained out.
After missing Thursday's show, Mills joined a massive field at I-55 Raceway (Pevely, Mo.) on Friday and Saturday for the co-sanctioned weekend. Trey was unable to make either main event.
Mills finished the long week on a positive note as he charged from 18th-to-11th in the closing event at Lincoln (Ill.) Speedway on Sunday.
