Mills ninth in Bad Boy 98 opener at Batesville Motor Speedway with Comp Cams
Joining the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series for the weekend, Trey Mills unloaded his Mills Concrete No. 14JR at Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Ark.) for the first night of the Bad Boy 98.
With 41 Super Late Models checked in for opening night, Mills finished one spot short of transferring in his heat race but was victorious in his B-Main. Starting towards to the back in the quick 30-lap feature, Trey climbed forward nine spots to finish inside the Top-10 in ninth.
For Saturday's $12,000-to-win finale, Mills started ninth in the A-Main after a third-place run in his heat but was caught up in a lap 27 accident that ended his night early.
