Trey Mills scores first Top-5 with Hunt the Front at Swainsboro
Trey Mills continued his Hunt the Front Rookie of the Year title run on Friday afternoon at Swainsboro Raceway (Swainsboro, Ga.) for the third HTF event of 2023.
With 34 Late Models in the pits, Mills timed in fifth-fastest in his group before piloting his way to a runner-up finish in his heat. For the $10,000-to-win main event, Mills challenged the leaders and led laps 17-22 before fading late in the feature to finish fifth.
Saturday's $10,044 event at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) was rained out.
