Trey Mills charges to Top-10 finish at Smoky Mountain with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series
Fresh off his strong run at Talladega Short Track, Trey Mills followed the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series to Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon for the King of the Mountain.
With a whopping 44 Late Models at the track, Trey finished one spot out of a transfer in his heat race but earned a spot in the 50-lap feature after dominating the first Last Chance Qualifier. Starting 17th in the $15,000-to-win main event, Mills slowly but surely made his way through the field and landed inside the Top-10 in 10th.
Trey is currently seventh in the HTFSDS point standings.
